At GIIS, we are committed to helping learners achieve their academic potential by broadening their learning opportunities. These secondary school scholarships allow learners to study at many campuses. They include:
1. The Global Citizen Scholarship
We launched this scholarship in 2008, and it has grown to become a benchmark program that offers a unique schooling prospect to deserving pupils all over the world. It’s a fully-funded 2-year scholarship program where students get to attend the GIIS SMART campus in Singapore. It is open to students currently studying in Grade 10 to continue their Grade 11 and 12 learning at the SMART campus. This scholarship has helped over 85 Indian learners so far and plans to extend this wonderful opportunity to other learners as the scholarship is now offered at four different schools. This scholarship not only awards academic excellence but other talents as well, thus providing equal learning opportunities to students from needy homes.
To apply for this scholarship, you can download the scholarship form, fill it, attach all the required documents, and present it before the deadline. Shortlisted candidates are contacted and requested to take an online examination, and if they pass, they are called back for an interview. We will contact successful applicants through phone or email with further instruction on how to receive the award.
2. 9GEMS Holistic Development Scholarship
The 9GEMS learning framework is a revolutionary, award-winning teaching methodology designed to help students meet the ever-changing needs of the world. This framework is designed to train students, sharpen their strengths, and mould their personalities, transforming them into global citizens. This framework is a perfect balance of academics and extracurriculars perfectly woven into every aspect of life at GIIS. This annual award is open to all pupils in Grades 5 to 11, and it’s a talent-based award where they can win tuition scholarships that cover anywhere between 20 to 60 percent of their yearly tuition fees.

3. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship
As the world gets more technological, being tech-savvy is becoming an integral part of everyday life. In line with promoting this inquisitive and exploratory nature of trying to understand the world around us and beyond, we offer this award in recognition of young talents in this digital age. This annual program is aimed at encouraging, promoting, and rewarding talents in the realm of technology. It’s open to learners in Grades 9 to 11 where you stand to win anywhere between 9 to 19 percent off your tuition fee. To be eligible, you must rank among the top students at the different science or robotics competitions held in the country. To apply, submit the application form and the required documents such as academic records, a paper, thesis or technology project papers. Successful applicants will be contacted via email after about a week and asked to come in for an assessment, and a one-on-one interview before the winner is announced.
4. Mahatma Gandhi Universal Values Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
The Global Schools Foundation has been working tirelessly to continue contributing to learners’ needs through different initiatives and programs. These initiatives, such as the merit-cums-means scholarship are a way for us to extend financial aid to worthy learners. Through this scholarship, education becomes affordable across all financial scopes. The scholarship awards a fee waiver to students in all grades (kindergarten to Grade 12) from moderate-income families. To be eligible, your family’s annual income must be below or fall in between the annual income bracket (60k to 160k). Learners from these families can get anywhere between 15 to 80 percent off on their tuition fees.
To apply, fill out and submit the application form along with all the requested documents such as academic records and your family’s gross income financial statements. In case you are living with local guardians, you must provide the same statements for your local guardians. Successful applicants will be contacted via email after about a week and asked to come in for an assessment, and a one-on-one interview before the winner is announced.
5. The Global Citizen Merit Scholarship
This award, like most of the scholarships we offer, recognizes students with academic talents and awards them the scholarship as a stepping stone to continue pursuing their education. Through this scholarship, learners are able to attend GIIS, where we offer unparalleled learning experiences at our flagship campuses all over the country. This award is open to pupils in Grades 9 to 11. To apply, submit the application form and the required documents. At GIIS, our scholarships are open to all students whether they are from GIIS or not and are offered from kindergarten to Grade 12. They vary from academics to sports to merit-cum-means and scientific temperament. The scholarships are offered quarterly under the sponsorship of the Global Schools Foundation, the umbrella organization that founded the school. The foundation ensures that deserving children from financially needy backgrounds get to pursue their education and grow.
